Meet Nandi with the Tour Guide at the center

Touring with my family was such a great experience ever and That amazing Day while on avacation in kenya, when we planned to vist the Giraffe center, well when  I thought of a giraffes i thought we were going in a national park but i was told by my Sister-In-Law  it was just  12MILES ALONG WAY TO REACH Nairobi city in The place which is called LANG’ATA, ,KAREN town in Kenyajust like the Ugandan Zoo found in Entebbe or the central park zoo in the New York, so as with the giraffe center in Nairobi, it took me with surprises because of the nature in the place as compared of my country in uganda, And how tall the giraffes were and the caring on them they were nice looking giraffes at sight‘ooh #vistkenya GUYS

AT the center where at the first place I had no idea with what  was going to happen 'prior thoughts', when we visited in and when I moved out the center I was the giraffe like Guy, and here i am with the TOUR ARTICLE it was a such a great time to have the stunning look to the giraffes color and spot patterns of each types mostly the one called NANDI, I had spent long without seeing the the giraffes back in Uganda again but with this time around I got a chance to even learn more and getting in touch with them at the center like on giraffes ways and more with also the giraffe guided sessions which took place also at the center ,as well the beautiful environment with the Acacia trees and the tourist also i got achat with.

NANDI

Here she comes NANDI a rothchild Giraffe a the center

the one who made me to write this shes two yrs old calf to Stacey, her name is off the nandi flame tree or the African Tuliptree, recently she had some health issues. Thank to KWS VETERINARY UNIT, she was treated and she was well. They said when you try to feed her donot make sudden movements like reach to your pocket, she will run away as she would assume you want to trap her watch here as she was being treated, but with me it was such aconnection

And This brings you what i said up there in my intro‘ooh #vistkenya GUYS

where i called the name and surprisingly she ran up to me and i feed her twice with my hands and aswell with my lip with a pellet it was my first time where i felt what all those who did so felt.

MPINGO

Mpingo the rothschild giraffe

Then here is another male ,He was easy to be seen because he was the bigger and darker in all other calves around them, and may be if it was agiraffe language it would be handsome

LILY

she was the youngest at the center, she was barely one year old and adaughter of stacey just like any mom, shes hard to see her, she likes staying far from the platform area, and a baby sister to nandi the giraffe

OLERAI

he was rescued from  amasai community as they called it after the acacia tree called olerai hes the light skinned male calf to kelly as the mother

The CONTRIBUTION of The center on record populations of giraffes care of is 300 and on them it releases them into other parks like Lake Nakuru  National park,  Mwea National reserve ,Ruma national park and Nasalot National park..
I think this was adessert from the tour guide . The Masai giraffe

The giraffes are friendly and the experience is extra ordinary. Though with rules were When feeding the giraffes give them one pellet at a time using your palm and index finger, and don’t tease with your hands empty because the giraffes because it will make them upset and you are not allowed to make loud noises or sudden movements when feeding them. Enjoyable activities are you can observe, hand feed or even mouth feed kiss one of the giraffes from the raised wooden structure, which is quite an experience as well spotting  warthogs snuffling about in the mud, and as well  there’s an interesting self-guided forest walk through the GOGO RIVER BIRD SANCTUARY.

The built museum at the center where more of talks of giraffes by the guides takes place
i was here signing

And the last thing you do which i found around it was the donating cash glass and the signing book at the exit of the giraffe platform at the center, well i signed in the book on behalf of both my families and i happily donated my cash which was in kenya notes had a"jomo kenyatta face" to the Giraffe center as supporting for its work.
